Figure 7-5. Representative images of both surfaces of human SMILE lenticules by scanning electron microscopy. (A) The lenticules obtained from SMILE using conventional energy levels (140 and 150 nJ, settings 28 and 30) had a more irregular surface than that from SMILE using low-energy levels (100 and 110 nJ, settings 20 and 22) on both the anterior and posterior surfaces. The posterior surface of the SMILE lenticule was rougher than the anterior surface at each energy level (x300). (B) Cavitation bubbles were observed at the periphery of both surfaces of lenticules using laser energy of more than 120 nJ (setting 24) (x300). 스마일라식의 완성도를 좌우할

핵심요소로 중요하게 언급됐습니다.

Figure 4-12. Diagram demonstrating Dr. David Kang's 3-point marker concept to enable both cyclotorsion and centration to be evaluated and controlled in SMILE based on corneal marks.

as suggested by Dr. David Kang and Dr. Sri Ganesh. This third mark can be made on the inferior cornea by turning the guiding slit lamp beam vertically, while still bisecting the CSCLR. The addition of the inferior mark enables the marks to be used for centration as well as for cyclotorsion control; the marks on the horizontal meridian can be used to adjust for cyclotorsion as described previously, while proper centration can be evaluated based on the alignment of the inferior mark to the vertical line on the reticle. Therefore, there is an argument for performing this for every patient to help optimize centration.
