2016 ESCRS 유럽안과학회 발표를 위해 덴마크 코펜하겐에 다녀왔습니다.

의료진은 5개의 강연을 초청받았습니다.

이번 2016년 유럽안과학회에서 발표한 내용은 다음과 같았습니다.

첫 번째, 아베드로 의학자문위원회 (Medical Advisory Board)

두 번째, Low Energy SMILE의 전자 현미경 분석 (스마일의 대가 영국 Dr.댄 라인슈타인과 공동 연구)

세 번째, '원추각막 치료' 임상증례

또한 이번 2016 ESCRS에서 공식 런칭 행사를 가지게 될 아이리움안과가 연구 개발에 참여한

'코르비스+팬타캠 컴바인 : 각막생체역학검사 CBI/TBI' 발표도 예정되어 있었습니다.

저희의 공식적인 일정은 토요일부터 시작되었습니다.

먼저 저희가 찾은 곳은 스마일 세션에서 최고의 권위자로 인정받고 있는

'Dr. Dan Reinstein'의 강연이었습니다.

'Dr. Dan Reinstein'은 영국 출신의 안과 의사, 생명공학기술자로 영국과 미국, 캐나다 3개국의

안과 전문의 자격을 보유하고 있으며, 미국 콜롬비아 의과대학과 파리 캥즈-뱅

국립병원의 교수이자 세계 50여 개의 안과학 심포지움 심사위원으로 활동하고 있습니다.

현재 미국과 캐나다의 Reinstein Institute와 영국의 London Vision Clinic을

운영하고 있으며 스마일의 대가로 잘 알려져 있습니다.

Dr. Dan Reinstein은 발표 후 강성용 원장과 공동으로 연구한

로우에너지 스마일(Low Energy SMILE)의 우수한 임상결과에 대해 이야기를 나누었습니다.

또한 자리를 옮겨 스마일(ReLEx SMILE)의 수술 장비인 비쥬맥스의 제조사

칼 자이스 부스에서 스마일 엠버서더로서 관계자들과의 긴밀한 미팅을 가졌습니다.

토요일 일정의 하이라이트는 바로 아이리움안과가 연구 개발에 참여한

오큐러스 사의 각막생체역학검사 프로그램 '코르비스+팬타캠 컴바인' 런칭 행사였습니다.

Speaking on behalf of the Danish Ophthalmological Society, Prof Jesper Hjortdal welcomed delegates to Copenhagen and urged them to enjoy the manifold delights of one of Europe's most vibrant cities.
As part of the opening ceremony, this year's EuCornea Medal Lecture was delivered by Prof Paolo Rama of Italy, discussing the huge potential of cultivated limbal stem cells for ocular surface reconstruction and regeneration in cases of severe ocular surface disease.
Prof Rama's lecture was followed by the presentation of a plaque to Prof Malecaze on behalf of EuCornea by incoming President Friedrich Kruse.
"We want to thank Francois for his tireless work on behalf of our society over the past two years. He has always been available to deal with queries, answer emails and advance the cause of EuCornea and we are deeply appreciative of his efforts," he said.
Prof Malecaze concluded by thanking the assembled audience for their attendance and urged them to play an active role in making EuCornea a thriving organisation that actively serves its members.
"I have tried to do my best over the term of my presidency to promote the activities of EuCornea. I think, in large part due to the success of our congresses, that our society is now firmly established as a reference for corneal specialists. I am sure that Friedrich will continue on the work of his predecessors in promoting the work of our society," he said.

마지막 발표 일정으로 Poster Village에서 열린 '아쿠아 ICL의 Vaulting 변화' 발표가 있었습니다.

Vaulting Change & Pupil Size
In V4c ICL, pressure equilibrium adjustment (via the central hole) and pupillary constriction influences vaulting changes under photopic conditions. (Am J Ophthalmol. 2014 Dec;158(6):1199-1204)
In V4 ICL, accommodation-induced movement of the crystalline lens, showing significant changing ACD.
But, that is not relevant during accommodation. (Am J Ophthalmol. 2015 Oct;160(4):701-6)
Discrepancy between our past study: - Attributable to the extent of pupil constriction - 0.23 mm (Photopic conditions) vs 0.07 mm (accommodation)
Any associations exists between vaulting and pupil size?
