CONCLUSIONS

  • 1. Combined tPRK and Prophylactic Accelerated CXL Demonstrated Comparable Predictability, Efficacy, and Safety Compared with tPRK Alone.
  • 2. Combined tPRK and CXL Provides Better UDVA in the Early Postop. Period.
  • 3. Better Refractive Outcomes at 12 months Postoperatively in Terms of Spherical Error and MRSE.


On January 6, Dr.David Kang gave a lecture on

 <Corneal Collagen Crosslinking For Keratoconus and Prophylaxis In Laser Refractive Surgery> 

at a symposium in Shanghai.



Dr.David Kang attended as an Ambassador of Avedro and also a medical advisor. 


In order to hear his lecture, about 500 doctors attended.

Based on the paper in the SCI journal, Dr.David Kang introduced the excellent clinical cases and effects of CXL(Crosslinking).
