Date: July 24–26, 2026
Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore
Title: PresbyMAX for Presbyopia Correction: Clinical Outcomes and Future Perspectives – Combining KLEx with PresbyMAX LASIK

Dr. David S.Y. Kang of Eyereum Eye Clinic presented clinical outcomes of a combined presbyopia correction strategy at the SNEC 35th Anniversary International Meeting, held from July 24 to 26, 2026, at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Dr. Kang’s presentation focused on a combined approach for patients with myopic presbyopia, using KLEx in the dominant eye for distance vision and PresbyMAX LASIK in the non-dominant eye for intermediate and near vision.

The clinical analysis included 96 patients (192 eyes) aged 46 to 56 years, with a mean age of 50. All patients achieved binocular uncorrected distance visual acuity of 20/20 or better and J2 or better near vision, while approximately 82% achieved J1 near vision.

The presentation highlighted an individualized approach to presbyopia correction that considers the visual roles of both eyes, corneal optics, binocular visual function, and future changes in the crystalline lens.

EYEREUM EYE CLINIC will continue to advance vision correction through ongoing clinical research and academic activities, with a focus on providing safe and precise patient care.
