Before surgery, Maria underwent a comprehensive eye examination at EYEREUM Eye Clinic to evaluate her refractive error and astigmatism, as well as corneal thickness, shape, and other factors relevant to vision correction surgery.

At her postoperative examination, Maria achieved 20/20 uncorrected visual acuity in both eyes.
