스마일(SMILE) 수술 후 코웨이브라섹 시행한 재수술 임상 결과
(원제 : Customized Wavefront-Optimized Transepithelial Photorefractive Keratectomy for a Retained Lenticule Fragment After Primary SMILE)

Kang, MD; Samuel Arba-Mosquera, PhD; Tae-im Kim, MD, PhD PURPOSE: To describe the surgical outcomes after transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) for a case of retained intrastromal lenticule fragment after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE). METHODS: Transepithelial PRK was performed to minimize corneal irregularity and to correct residual refractive errors in a patient who had undergone failed lenticule extraction, which resulted in a refractive lenticule fragment being retained for 14 months after primary SMILE. RESULTS: At the postoperative 6-month visit, uncorrected distance visual acuity and corrected distance visual acuity improved to 20/20 and 20/20, respectively, and corneal tomography depicted normalization of the corneal surface. Corneal higher order aberrations, including coma, trefoil, and spherical aberration, were markedly reduced. CONCLUSIONS: Transepithelial PRK is a potential option for the management of a retained lenticule fragment after primary SMILE. [J Refract Surg. 2020;36(6):395–399.]

타원에서 스마일수술 시 제거하지 못한 각막렌티큘로 인해
고위수차 발생하여, 해당 고위수차로 최고 교정시력 저하가 발생했으나
정밀한 커스텀수술을 진행하여 고위수차를 모두 제거한 사례입니다.
본원의 코웨이브라섹으로 재수술 후
수술 6개월 후 나안시력, 교정시력 모두 1.0 이상 유지하였고
코마(coma), 트레포일(trefoil), 구면수차(spherical aberration)를 포함한
각막 고위수차(Corneal higher order aberrations)가 감소하였습니다.
